This house was in a sorry state when I purchased it in 2013. It was the first property I’d renovated with an active JV (joint venture) partner. That was a lesson in itself!

Initially my idea was to convert the property from an HMO to flats. However my JV partner believed it would be better transformed into a luxury family home. He was right. We refurbished this property to a luxurious standard and smashed the previous ceiling for property prices in the area achieving £3.2m. Not bad when we purchased it for £1.4m.

The property was purchased by a very young and very talented musician who later invited me over to see his music production studio he had set up on the lower ground floor.
